Temple Tree is located in Southern Sri Lanka, a 5-minute drive from the famous Bentota. The luxurious resort offers 2 swimming pools including a built-in spa pool, spa services and a restaurant with sea views.

Wonderful

Hotels staff was totaly helpfull and friendly. Got upgraded because of the low season is starting.Big room with a big bathroom. Best thing was the pool which fits to our 2year old little girl.

Breakfast isnt worth it but that wasnt a big suprise for asia. Price in the restaurant is not quite cheap, but there are some beach Restaurants nearby.

Overpriced

Great place on the beach, very clean beach. Nice breakfast, beach bar. Big room. Quiet place until locals not there :) very comfortable big bed.

Need to fix bathroom taps in delux room. Room needs some renovation. Prices are too high for this quality (they try to do something european level lux but still it is overpriced srilankian imagination how luxary shoul look like).

Wonderful

Lovely property for some peaceful time. You can spend a good time within the resort by the beach beds. The pool is small but welcoming. The staff is accomodating and helpful. Overall a good relaxed stay.

Staff could be a little slower, requests could take time. Rest was great.

Pleasant

The location is amazing - the beach beautiful and the hotel has a huge pool. Lots of lovely restaurants near by on the beach. The pool attendant was great at sorting out the earlier green colour after a public holiday and lots of people using it.

The pool was an alarming green on arrival but the pool attendants quickly sorted that out so I could use it the next day. The hotel tried to give me top floor but my second floor room was great. The hotel charges 10 % ‘service’ as you check in which was surprising - just be warned - I missed the small print. I hope the staff get the service charge. The hotel was quite run down and has potential to be much smarter - but for the money it was okay.

Location, Beach, Very good breakfast

We arrived very late in night around 2 AM. And had to wait long for the gates to be opened. A 4 star property should not have such a system. I expected at least guards to know guests are expected and gates should have been opened immediately.

Good stay, can be rated as excellent if the above minor issues could be fixed.

Towels provided in the bathroom as well as for the pool had stains. Washroom was not clean. balcony floor was not nice and well done, when compared with other hotels.

Awesome

Overall experience was very good. Very good and secure location. Very clean and tidy. Breakfast was also good. Staff were very helpful and nice.

Our Suite room was perfect but the food was terrible.

It was situated on a lovely beach.

The food selection on the buffet was very limited, the food was not nice at all. Too much spicy food, meat was mostly fat, pasta was overcooked and too soft and not a lot of options. The breakfast was terrible. We ended up going back to our room and just ordering room service continental breakfast. The pools are not very welcoming as the colour of the pool tiles look dirty so we didn't use the pools.

Staff including Tarak and Senaka ensured our stay be as comfortable as it could be. In the early morning ours they arranged milk for my kid which is really appreciative.

Driver's accommodation is only available for booking through travel operators and no free accomodation was available for booking through online portals including booking.com

Really cool building with a glorious aspect.

Very nice looking hotel. Superb length pool. Lovely loungers on the sea front shaded by the Pandana trees. Great balcony and a/c. Delicious breakfast.

They throw you off the loungers during sunset. The pool attendant was quite aggressive when we stayed on. The best part of the hotel was suddenly ruined.

One of the best options in Bentota

The hotel comes as a complete package for beach lovers. You may lock ur self in for couple days and enjoy the sea view, lovely food, pools and dining. Special thanks to Lakshika who tackled my booking properly and ensure I can pay upon check in.

We stayed for a day and they had no internet or even Tv working due to an issue with service provider.
